Richard was a former Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, during which he handled the entire gamut of cases, including felony drug sales, homicides, assaults, robberies and DWI’s. As a prosecutor, Richard was quickly promoted to handle homicides within the Grand Jury Bureau and was then promoted to the Narcotics Bureau, where he specialized in the investigation and prosecution of felony narcotics crimes. He went on to private practice and worked for law firms specializing in Personal Injury, Aviation, Commercial Litigation and Entertainment and Employment law.

Richard currently specializes in criminal defense in the Southern and Eastern Federal District Courts of New York and New York State Supreme Court. He has successfully represented clients accused of fraud and white collar crimes; narcotics trafficking and conspiracies; terrorism; murder; robbery burglary. He is a seasoned, creative and dedicated advocate, who represents his clients through the most challenging of circumstances with the utmost integrity and loyalty.

Richard is admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, New York State Supreme Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the distinguished Criminal Justice Act (“CJA”) Panel and New York State 18-B Panel.

Ellen J. Park

BIO
Ellen grew up in Flushing, Queens, graduated from Bronx High School of Science and New York University. After graduating from Hofstra Law School in 1998, she worked for law firms specializing in Insurance Defense, gaining immense trial and litigation experience prior to starting and joining the Law Offices of Ma & Park. Since the inception of Ma & Park, Ellen has handled numerous real estate closings both residential and commercial, landlord-tenant cases both commercial and residential, personal injury cases, commercial litigation cases and various civil litigation cases. She has also handled transactional matters dealing with small to midsize businesses such as operating agreements, concession and licensing agreements, commercial lease review and drafting, purchases and/or sales of small to midsize businesses. Ellen is admitted to practice law in NY & NJ.

Ellen has also worked in the insurance industry as claims counsel and broker for Chubb, Hub International and Aon dealing with Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Wage and Hour, Professional Liability such as doctors, lawyers, accountants, Error & Omissions, Crime, and Cyber policies. She has an insurance broker license in both NY & NJ.

Additionally, Ellen also serves as a New Jersey State Assemblymember for the 37th Legislative District since 2022, where she is the chair of the Judiciary Committee, a member of both the Budget Committee and the Commerce, Economic Development and Agriculture Committee.
